Tulamben Beach


Located about 125 kilometers northeast of Denpasar. The beach belonging to the Karangasem district is reachable in about three hours drive from Denpasar. Unlike Kuta, the beach is located on the east side of the island of Bali that you can not sunbathe or play football in the sand, because the beach is not sandy but rocky.

Privileged Tulamben beach is not beach but the underwater scenery. In coastal waters is in addition to various types of coral reefs and colorful fish are benign, there is also the wreck of Liberty belongs to the United States armed forces that sank the Japanese torpedoed in the war in 1942. The ship has now become rumpon (gathering place) some kind of life on the seabed Tulamben.

On the seabed, the wreck's position along the 50-foot flat with a slope of 45 degrees, looks like an antique that had been on display for the lovers of diving.
